• Negotiate with creditors to avoid bankruptcy if possible
• Advise client re: prebankruptcy planning to protect maximum amount of assets
• Advise treatment under Chapter 7 and/or 13

Prepare and File Bankruptcy Petition

• Prepare Draft Bankruptcy Petition
• Review petition with clients
• Electronically file bankruptcy petition
• Advise client re: Bankruptcy process Prepare Motion to Strip Off Second Mortgage (if possible)

Post Bankruptcy Filing

• Advise Client re: rights and responsibilities under Bankruptcy
• Debtor Education
• Attend Meeting of Creditors
